Connect Twilio, SignalWire, Plivo, Vonage, or your own SIP trunk and dial straight from Pact. Calls stream a live transcript with sentiment and topics, coaching cues fire mid-call, and post-call actions draft the follow-up and update the record. Spend is metered per user, team, and tenant with threshold alerts — and the whole engine is MCP-native.

What you get on day one
Twilio and SignalWire are fully wired — calls, status updates, recording, and the softphone. Plivo and Vonage can place calls; their status updates and recording are not wired yet, and a raw SIP trunk is not live. You keep your carrier relationship and your rates. Configure the greeting, persona, and language per tenant; a DTMF PIN gates unknown callers.
Dial, answer, transfer, and send DTMF from a softphone that lives next to the record — no desk phone, no separate app. The call is attached to the contact before it connects.
Watch a call in flight: streaming transcript, live sentiment, surfaced topics, and a running cost meter. A manager can follow any live call as a silent observer — transcript and sentiment, read-only — without the caller knowing. Listening in on the audio is not built yet.
Turn on live coaching and cues fire off the transcript and sentiment — the next question to ask, the objection to name, the risk to flag — while the call is still happening. When sentiment crosses a threshold, the call escalates to a manager in real time. Opt-in per tenant; it adds a per-minute cost while it's running.
The moment a call ends, the recording, transcript, and summary are filed to the record automatically. One tap drafts the follow-up email for you to review and send.
Voice spend is metered per tenant with a daily budget and a live remaining balance. Amber and red threshold alerts post to Slack or Teams before the hard daily cap stops new calls — so a runaway autodialer can't quietly burn the month's budget.
The shipped product surfaces this role lives in.
“We kept our Twilio numbers and pointed them at Pact. Now every call transcribes and files itself, and one tap drafts the follow-up before the rep moves on. The daily budget cap means finance stopped worrying about the autodialer.”
