Content library

A workspace-wide store of post templates, snippets, and hashtag bundles for the composer — shared with every teammate, with usage counted across the workspace.

Content library

The content library is where a workspace keeps the copy it reuses: full post templates, short snippets, and hashtag bundles you drop into the composer instead of retyping. Each item carries a name, body, tags, and a popularity signal — a use_count and last_used_at that bump every time you click "Use," so your most-reached-for content floats to the top of the rail.

Items are stored for your workspace, not in a browser: every teammate sees the same library on every device, and "Used N×" counts uses across the whole workspace. Each item shows who added it.

Who can do what

RoleRead and useAdd, duplicateEdit or delete
Owner, adminYesYesAny item
Member, manager, supportYesYesItems they added
Viewer, complianceYesNoNo

The page shows only the actions your role allows, so no button ends in a refusal. Deleting an item removes it for everyone; it is a soft delete, and every add, edit, delete and import is written to the workspace audit log.

Moving items saved in this browser

Before the library was stored for the workspace, items were kept in your browser. If this browser still holds some, the library shows how many and offers Move to the workspace. Each item gets its own result:

  • Moved or already in the workspace: the server holds it, so the browser copy is removed.
  • Still in this browser: the server refused it (for example, a name over 200 characters) or could not save it. The reason is shown and the browser copy is kept, so nothing is lost. Click Move again to retry an item that failed to save.

Moving is safe to repeat. If you click twice, open a second tab, or a teammate on the same browser moves the items first, nothing is copied twice. Usage counts come along with the items.

What's in the library

KindUse
templateA full post you reuse and lightly edit — announcements, weekly formats, event promos.
snippetA reusable fragment — a CTA line, a disclaimer, a signature block.
hashtag_bundleA named set of hashtags you append in one click.

Items surface popularity through use_count and last_used_at, so the rail can rank by what the team actually reaches for.

API

The library is served by /v1/social/library (list, create, edit, delete, use, duplicate, and /import for the one-time move). It is part of the Marketing module.
